The 242,000 square foot facility is home to a family of tenants including the US Men’s and Women’s National Volleyball Teams, Southern California Volleyball Association, Open Gym Premier, STARS, Goldenwest Volleyball, Pulse Volleyball and the Southern California Indoor Volleyball Hall of Fame. Additionally, ASC hosts numerous youth club volleyball and basketball programs, adult basketball and futsal leagues, and a variety of weekend tournaments and events. Guests can relax and enjoy a full menu in the front cafe / bar area or choose from a wide selection at the back pavilion grill while hanging out with team members. On-site at ASC is a fully stocked retail store with sporting goods featuring the top brands in volleyball and basketball. History American Sports Centers was developed under the guidance of Norm Nowell, Founder of Makena Propertiesas well as Brad Kelly and Mike Gallups, in response to the growth of youth court sports and the dwindling number of available facilities. The Anaheim location, which opened March 2004, was chosen due to its proximity to several freeways, the large number of hotel accommodations and the availability of a variety of family entertainment options. State-of-the-art hardwood flooring is used throughout the facility along with top of line basketball standards, volleyball systems and indoor soccer goals. ASC opened another 83,000 square foot indoor facility in Avondale, Arizona in November 2010. More information on ASC Avondale is available HERE . If you’ve found an item please bring it to the main ASC office. Parking About 100 spaces are available in front of the building. Another 100 spaces are available in the rear of the building, which can be accessed from Anaheim Boulevard when approaching ASC from the south. In addition, about 670 spaces are available in the new Claudina Avenue parking lot (address: 1629 S. Claudina Way, Anaheim, CA 92805) that is adjacent to the old roof top parking entrance. The Anaheim Marketplace across Cerritos Boulevard from ASC often provides additional parking for $20.00 per car. This parking is not a part of ASC. Do not park in the business park lots across Anaheim Blvd. The business park owner will tow vehicles at a cost of $225. Parking is allowed on the street. Maps to all available parking areas are available from parking personnel on the day of the event. Directions ASC is located at 1500 S. Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805 at the corner of Anaheim Blvd and Cerritos Ave. Detailed Directions First Aid ASC rents courts to event organizers who often times provide a trainer for their event participants. ASC does not have a trainer on duty. It is the responsibility of the event organizer or coach to provide first aid supplies for his or her team. Cold packs, athletic tape, and various braces are available for purchase at The Store at ASC. Court Reservations/Pricing ASC rents all courts for $75 per hour.
